Artificial intelligence wreaking havoc with hoaxes about politics, investment and entertainment – this fascinating segment of German RTL crime-prevention broadcast “Achtung Verbrechen!” (roughly translated as “Caution: Crime Ahead”) showcases just how easy it is to misuse AI technology.

It highlights an AI-aided identity theft case that used the face and voice of Tagesschau newsreader André Schünke to sell a bogus investment scheme.
