Marking World Press Freedom Day

On today’s World Press Freedom Day, we want to give a shout out to the hundreds of journalists who take time out of their busy professional lives to help teachers and schoolchildren tell fact from fake online and understand how ethical journalism works.
 
Thanks also to the newsrooms that have freed up their staff for this important work, including European Broadcasting Union (EBU), La Libre, Kleine Zeitung, ARD aktuell’s Tagesschau, MDR Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk WDR, North Germany’s NDR, Saarland's SR1 and Schleswig-Holstein’s SH:Z.
